Caterers go beyond simply serving food and beverages these days. How do you approach a client brief as the end of year and festive season approaches?
We engage and have a lot of fun with our clients! They often give us the freedom to be creative which in turn allows us to source the best produce available and really customise each menu to their event. Fourside is all about building friendships, having fun and showing our clients an incredible overall experience.
What foods / flavours are you enjoying working with at the moment?
Simple and clean Japanese influences; the flavours are so precise and clinical. The simplicity of the culture reminds us how minimalist elements in food can be the hardest but also the most rewarding to achieve.
What are your favourite trends of the moment?
We have just come back from a working holiday visiting Los Angeles, Palm Springs and finishing in London. Observing the amazing produce in these cities we were constantly looking at how meals were prepared and presented. Overall, it made us realise how fortunate we are, to have access to an abundance of incredible local produce to experiment with.
Who are you inspired by? (Producers, culinary enthusiasts, designers, artists…)
We are surrounded by some incredible suppliers – their energy, creativity and most importantly the trust we have in each other is what inspires us.
What would be your dream food brief?
When clients tell us when, where, how many and they leave the rest to us.
We have just launched our new private dining experience ( Shh. By Fourside Events ) and we love taking over private kitchens. Even cooking for two people has gotten us excited!
If you hosted a party, what would be on your menu?
A raw bar with copious amount of champagne.

A green velvet couch. We we are LOVING this lush and decadent aesthetic at the moment!
